Volunteering
People of all ages and abilities are needed to help make Friday Folk Night a success, as our concerts are run entirely by volunteers. No prior experience is required: if you are willing to learn and to work hard, we will be happy to train you.
Duties
We are looking for volunteers to help out with the following:
- set up tables & chairs before the show, and put them away afterwards
- sell tickets and CDs
- serve refreshments before the show and during intermission
- help with general clean-up after the show
Hours
Shifts are from 5:30 pm to 11:00 pm on the night of the concert, which is usually on the 4th Friday of the month. Students can earn 5½ hours per shift towards their community service requirement.
